Army Kidnaps Two Palestinian Fishermen In Northern Gaza

Zionist attack unarmed fisherman
by Saed Bannoura

The Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR), based in Gaza, has reported that the Israeli Navy kidnapped, on Sunday at night, two Palestinian fishermen near the coast of Beit Lahia city, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

The PCHR said that the soldiers kidnapped Mahmoud Zayed, 27, and his brother Khaled, as they were fishing in Palestinian territorial waters, and took them to an unknown destination before confiscating their boat.

The soldiers also prevented Palestinian fishermen in the area from fishing and forced them back to the shore.

Palestinian fishermen are only allowed to fish within three nautical miles off the Gaza shore due to illegal Israeli restrictions imposed as part of the Israeli siege on Gaza that was enforced starting in 2006.

Yet, Palestinian fishermen and their boats are constantly attacked within those three miles; dozens of casualties have been reported.

As part of the ceasefire agreement of November 2012, Israel agreed to allow the Palestinians to fish within six nautical miles of the shore, but unilaterally decreased the allotted area to three miles.

Under the Oslo accords in the mid-nineties, the Palestinians are allowed to fish in 20 nautical miles off the Gaza shore, but in 2008, Israel unilaterally reduced the fishing area to only three nautical miles.

Gaza fishermen face heavy losses as Israel continues attacks on fishing boats

Savage Zionist fire on unarmed fishing boats
Israeli gunships opened their automatic gun machines on the Palestinian fishermen along the Gaza coast in the early morning of Monday.

Witnesses said that the shooting towards the Palestinian fishing boats had started before dawn and continued until morning. No casualties have been reported.

The Israeli navy had been repeatedly shooting at the Palestinian fishermen along the Gaza Sea. The fishermen said they were trying to frighten them in order to prevent them from staying in the sea long enough to fish.

Gaza fishermen are allowed to sail 3 nautical miles from the coast for fishing. Following The truce agreement reached between Israel and the Palestinians in November last year, the fishing distance was extended to 6 nautical miles. Several months later, Israel retracted the agreement to only 3 miles.
The Israeli reduction of the fishing distance has come as a heavy cost for the Gaza fishermen as they lose fishing time during the sardine season.

"The Israeli retraction of the agreement reached with the Palestinian fighters has caused a number of losses for the fishermen," Nizar Ayesh, the head of fishermen union said. "They are losing the sardine season."

Describing the effects of the reduction on the fishermen and their families, Ayesh said: "The reduction means that 700 fishing boats along the whole Gaza coast will be out of work. About 3,500 fishermen working on board of these boats are going to become unemployed."

He also said that 70 boats had already stopped working and about 750 fishermen have already been made unemployed.

Ayesh said that five to ten fishermen work on board each fishing boat.

For the non Jewish supporters of "Israel"

My purpose in life is to serve the Jewish "state"

In an October 2010 sermon, the racist Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, real name Abdullah Youssef, former chief Rabbi of "Israel" and current spiritual leader of the Shas political party in the Israeli parliament, Nut-n-yahoo's Rabbi, stated that "The sole purpose of non-Jews is to serve Jews". He said that Gentiles served a divine purpose: "Why are Gentiles needed? They will work, they will plow, they will reap. We will sit like an effendi and eat. That is why Gentiles were created." In the same article on the Jerusalem Post, according to the journalist who interviewed him, Yosef compared Gentiles to donkeys whose life has the sole purpose to serve the master: “In Israel, death has no dominion over them... With gentiles, it will be like any person – they need to die, but [God] will give them longevity. Why? Imagine that one’s donkey would die, they’d lose their money. This is his servant... That’s why he gets a long life, to work well for this Jew."

"Gentiles were born only to serve us. Without that, they have no place in the world – only to serve the People of Israel.

In 2001 this disgusting genocidal buffoon was quoted as calling for the annihilation of Arabs, instructing his followers that "It is forbidden to be merciful to them. You must send missiles to them and annihilate them. They are evil and damnable."

Yosef drew criticism from the US State Department in August 2010 following a Saturday morning sermon in which he called for "all the nasty people who hate Israel, like Abu Mazen (Abbas), vanish from our world... May God strike them down with the plague along with all the nasty Palestinians who persecute Israel."

Saeb Erekat, the chief Palestinian negotiator, said Yosef's statements were tantamount to a call for genocide against Palestinians and demanded a firm response from the Israeli government. War criminal Benjamin Nut-n-yahoo, real name Benjamin Milikowsky, distanced himself and his criminal government from the sermon, stating that Yosef's words "do not reflect my approach or the stand of the Israeli. Yet these blood thirsty killers continue the daily campaign of ethnic cleansing and murder.
